One of the projects that is new for Aposento Alto is the construction of a church gathering space in Basiroa, Sonora, México. The church people have made these bricks themselves. Please pray for the needed funds to complete this project to give these believers a covered space to gather that they call their own.
From Fabian and Sarah about Basiroa:
“The construction of the new Aposento Alto building in Basiroa is finally underway! It is out desire that this structure become a place for meeting and fellowship where everyone is welcome form a part. The design of the building itself is that of an open pavilion, with a high ceiling and a large, open area for gatherings, holding services, fellow meals, weddings, village-wide events, and whatever else the Lord might bring!
We believe that God sets no obstacles in the way for people to come to Him, and we want the entire village of Basiroa to feel that the door of His church is always open to receive those who want to come to Christ.
For now, the plan is to first finish the Aposento, and after that we would also like to build a small pastoral house at the back of the property. This home would serve as housing for any pastors, missionaries or Christian brothers who would come to assist in the ministry in the village.
Along with the construction, we also see the need to provide more teaching and equipping for the brothers who are presently overseeing the ministry in Basiroa. We would like to bring them workshops in music, Bible study and discipleship.
We are very excited about what God is doing and grateful to those who have joined us in this vision.”
